I'm a senior freelance journalist and author. I've built a successful career originating content about pop culture and history for publications like Vanity Fair, The Hollywood Reporter, Air Mail, and The Seattle Times. A lot of my work focuses on profiles of public figures, movies, and film. I've interviewed and profiled some of the largest names in entertainment. I've assembled very popular oral histories of iconic shows such as "Frasier" and "Veronica Mars" for Vanity Fair "The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour," "The Bob Newhart Show" and "MAS*H." Those pieces were some of the most widely-read on their respective websites for an extended period of time. My first book, an oral history with the case and crew of Modern Family, was released by St. Martin's Press in 2020.
