Here are the nominees for the Iowa City Press-Citizen's high school Athletes of the Week for April 7-13. Press-Citizen.com readers vote to decide this week's winners. Voting closes at 8 p.m. Thursday. Athletes are listed in alphabetical order by last name.

Riggs was voted boys Athlete of the Week with 54% of the vote. Iowa City High soccer player Jackson Nichols-Lindsey placed second with 44% of the vote. Riggs didn't take long to make an impact during the opening week of action for Liberty soccer.
