Her son, 17-year-old Sebastian Carpio, was found dead in the trunk of a vehicle that had been set on fire and abandoned in far west Bexar County back in 2020. Investigators revealed that Sebastian had been shot by another teenager, who is now serving a 20-year sentence for manslaughter.
