Although I had lovely friends there, I needed a change. Also, I needed to stop wearing the student shoes I had put on when I arrived in Belfast. For that, finding a different environment was necessary. Within a few weeks, I was living in Manchester. I considered a few options, but this city seemed more multicultural and larger, where I might find a few more opportunities.

I never imagined this would ultimately involve sitting down and reflecting on my experiences so far. I cannot count the times I have erased everything to start writing again. It has been a challenge because each day for me is an adventure, an opportunity to learn something new and to take new directions.
