I’m a self-proclaimed ambivert who has given up her mission of achieving poise. I’m a hot mess of sorts who has a long-standing passion for truth-seeking. From a young age, my father suggested I get into law school because I love a good debate, so I became a journalist. I received my degrees in American Literature and Mexican American Studies, which lead to my passion of race, immigration, politics, and culture. As a Chicana, currently based in San Antonio, where I was born and raised, I aim to use my voice to bring visibility to the Chicanx community in South Central Texas. I am also ridiculously obsessed with internet culture, music, and podcasts. I have two children, one of which I homeschool, the other of which I endlessly chase around in attempts to keep her in one piece. I have two pups, a cat, and a husband. On the weekends you can find me enjoying local food, trying to learn the latest trending dances (see: the shoot), and endlessly complaining about the weather (because we can't have it all).
