Biography
I’m a reporter for WHYY, Philadelphia’s NPR member station. I tell stories on the radio and on the web about urban policy, crumbling infrastructure, and how distressed Pennsylvania cities are bouncing back. As a freelance radio reporter, I’m also interested in health and innovation, business, and culture. Before WHYY, I was an editor at CFO magazine, where I wrote about growth companies, strategy, accounting, and other topics. Before that, I interned for WBUR, Boston’s NPR news station, where I wrote newscasts and health articles and reported a six-minute piece for Morning Edition on urban sex trafficking and prostitution. I also wrote newscasts and produced oral history interviews for WRNI (now RIPR), Providence’s NPR station. I graduated from Brown University in 2010. While in school, I wrote for the Brown Daily Herald and reported radio pieces on national and local issues for WBRU-FM in Providence.
