Marissa De La Cerda is a freelance journalist and media critic based in Chicago, Illinois. As a freelance writer, she writes about art, books, culture, film and social justice in Chicago and beyond. She served as an associate editor for 14 East Magazine where she helped launch their bilingual section, Pueblo, which specializes in highlighting the journalistic and creative voices in the Latinx community.
