I am a Colorado-based journalist with decades of experience as an editor, reporter and manager for print and digital news outlets. Now I want to put my skills to work for you. I have been editor-in-chief at Colorado Community Media, a family of 24 newspapers; managing editor of Colorado Politics magazine; news director, new media editor and reporter at the Denver Business Journal; and city editor, online news editor, national-foreign editor and music critic at The Denver Post. Lately I've been a contributor of reporting, editing and commentary to The Denver Post, Rocky Mountain PBS, The Colorado Sun, Colorado Politics and other outlets. Earlier in my career I was an editor and reporter at the San Francisco Examiner, Tacoma News Tribune and Everett (Washington) Herald. I have strong digital-news experience.
