I am a versatile writer and editor on all major business subjects with a strong track record in business and contract publishing since 1993. A B2B specialist, I have had work published in more than 1200 editions of business magazines, with particular strengths in publication management and editing, sub-editing, and business news and features writing. My current work includes writing for the travel retail industry's leading publisher, The Moodie Davitt Report, and I’m also associate editor for its airport advertising title Sight Lines. I’m also engaged as consulting editor to textiles title Apparel Insider. In addition, I’m involved in freelance B2B PR work, writing content and delivering social media services. Recent previous roles include features editor of the Ministry of Defence’s Defence Contracts Bulletin and managing editor of Global Trader, produced by Ten Alps Plc in association with the Institute of Export and British Chambers of Commerce (BCC). For five years, up until Dec 2014, I was the editor of the national magazine Business Today and from 2010-2014, edited the magazine of the Scottish Chambers of Commerce. Prior to those roles, I have been editor of business magazines on behalf of clients in Essex, Thames Valley, Edinburgh, Lancashire, Milton Keynes, Humberside, Norfolk, Surrey, the West Midlands and the North East. For four years, I also edited two prestigious annual guides on behalf of BCC: The UK Guide to Skills and Learning and the UK Guide to Worldwide Exporting.
