Both teams rolled to impressive wins at the Sanford Diamonds. Mitchell defeated Roosevelt 11-1 and Washington also won by 10 runs against Yankton scoring the game’s only runs. The Cavaliers of Jefferson won the first game over Washington 15-1. Mason Payne blasted a 3-run HR in the 2nd to break the game wide open. In the 2nd game it was Lincoln against Roosevelt. A 3-run bomb by Jacob Mongar of the Riders helped erase a 4-1 Lincoln lead and Roosevelt built an 11-6 lead into the bottom of the 6th.
