(WAVE) - 61-year-old Charles Briscoe was killed Wednesday when he turned in front of an oncoming Louisville Metro police cruiser driven by Patrol Officer Alyssa Begel on Fern Valley Road. An eyewitness told WAVE the officer’s car did not have lights or sirens on. The officer was one of several responding to an ambulance crew which asked for police to come lights and sirens on shortly before nine Wednesday night.
