The first major change would be to introduce a building manual to collate key information and documentation on the design, construction and maintenance of buildings.
By Mark Vender| AIRAH Au@ The Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB) has published an amendment for the 2022 edition of the National Construction Code (NCC). The amendment, to be known as NCC 2022 Amendment 1, will be adopted on May 1, 2025. NCC 2022 Amendment 1 is available on the ABCB website. The amendments contain variations and additions for Western Australia (WA), a variation for Tasmania regarding Volume Two Part H8, and a few minor corrections. The impact on HVAC&R appears to be minimal.
