Biography
I am a sophomore mass communication with a concentration in journalism and political science major with a minor in history at Winthrop University. Currently, I am the editor-in-chief of Winthrop University's student newspaper, The Johnsonian and the president of the Winthrop chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists. My goal for my future is to eventually obtain the role of political, congressional, or international correspondent. I am proficient in Adobe InDesign, Premiere, and Audition as well as WordPress, AP Style, copyediting, and Nikon D500, D700, Canon Rebel, and Sony Venice cameras. Fun Fact! I've know I wanted to be a journalist since I was 13 and would sneak my phone out during class to check for news updates.
