In a statement released, the Missouri Division of Cannabis Regulation (DCR) said 24 of the licenses were revoked because the people or businesses were found to be ineligible to qualify. Qualifications to hold a cannabis microbusiness license include having a net worth of less than $250,000 or being a veteran who was disabled as a result of their military service.

Denton Loudermill, Jr. of Olathe, Kansas sued three members of the Missouri Senate who shared social media posts that accused Loudermill of being the shooter and of being an illegal immigrant. Those three are Sen. Rick Brattin, R-Harrisonville, Sen. Nick Schroer, R-Defiance, and former Sen. Denny Hoskins, who’s now Missouri’s Secretary of State.
