District 4 Commissioner Joey Baker asked the council to approve paying $100,000 out of the county-wide fund with the remaining coming from his district funds. “I’ve been working on trying to get a storm shelter for Alder Springs since 2022. I’ve been trying to get grant money and not been too successful, but I’ve had people tell me they could give me some grant money.
