Astonishingly, nine of every ten honey samples purchased from major UK supermarkets and retailers failed a new authenticity test, raising fears that jars are packed with cheap sugar syrup instead of the golden goodness we expect. The Honey Authenticity Network UK sent 30 honey samples for testing – five from local beekeepers and 25 from big-name retailers, including our best-known supermarkets. The results were quite frankly outrageous.

  • Pubs plead with Gen Z punters to stop queuing

Generation Z prefer to queue up and wait in line for a beer – apparently us Brits will queue for around 52 days of our lives, with the pub (until recently) being the last bastion of a life without lines.
