Biography
I'm a journalist with years of editorial and reporting experience covering local and national news with a focus on politics and government. I have worked as the Managing Editor at the Ithaca Times, where I have spent the last three and a half years leading a newsroom while writing and editing news stories on tight deadlines. Since I have relocated to Washington, D.C. I have continued to work as Assistant Editor at the Ithaca Times in a remote capacity. I have experience covering a wide variety of topics including elections, housing, labor, immigration, public safety, and environmental and health care policy. I regularly track politics and policy at every level of government and worked closely with sources to understand all sides of the issues I cover. My SubStack newsletter called The Bull-Moose Note focuses on foreign policy and corporate influence in government and media.
