The search comes after a 34-year-old man, from Litherland, was arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a woman, in her 30s.

At around 10.30pm on Tuesday, April 15, Merseyside Police received a report that a woman had been stabbed inside a flat in Knowsley Heights following a domestic incident. Officers attended and gave the victim first aid until paramedics arrived. She was taken to hospital but sadly died from her injuries.
