The car crashed after the driver drove into a lake near the 6700 Bigner Road just after 7:35 p.m. on Sunday, according to Beaumont Police spokesperson Sgt. Tom Swope. The two people got out of the vehicle and their injuries are unknown. The driver and passenger were taken by a private vehicle to get medical care, Swope said.
