Biography
Megha Jandhyala graduated with a doctorate in law a few years ago and found herself inescapably drawn away from life in academia, towards a career in wine criticism and writing. She now writes about wine and food full time. She is also a Rioja certified educator, teaching masterclasses on the region to trade and consumers alike. She is especially interested in exploring emerging wine regions (like Valle de Guadalupe in Mexico and Nashik in India) in her work. She also focuses on the relationship between wine and food in her writing, in particular cuisine from the Indian subcontinent. She hopes to highlight the ways in which wine and different expressions of regional cuisine can enhance one another, teaching us new ways to appreciate each along the way.
