OKLAHOMA COUNTY SAYS A BUMP IN THE ROAD BECAUSE OF SOGGY SOIL ISN’T GOING TO STOP THEM FROM CONSTRUCTING A BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CENTER, AND EVENTUALLY A NEW JAIL. WE KNEW THAT ANY BUILDING SITE WE WENT TO WAS GOING TO HAVE SOME SORT OF REMEDIATION THAT WAS GOING TO HAVE TO HAPPEN, AND THAT’S JUST WHAT THIS IS.

FOUR DAYS LATER, ON APRIL 19TH, SHE WENT TO THE SOCIAL SECURITY OFFICE. SHE WAS THERE GETTING HER NAME CHANGED, BUT SHE DIDN’T MAKE IT OUT ALIVE WHEN THE BOMB WENT OFF. THE BOMBING OF THE ALFRED P. MURRAH FEDERAL BUILDING TOOK THOSE 168 INNOCENT LIVES, AND THEN TOOK TWO OF OUR OWN AIRMEN.
