Biography
Freelance journalist, reporter and writer, I studied comparative literature from 2000 to 2002 then political sciences. Drawn to travels in Europe and beyond, I have lived in Prague, Miami, Paris, London, Nairobi, Bangui in Central African Republic, and Bristol, travelling to most of Europe, Haiti, India, Mexico, and more than 14 African countries in the past 10 years - 40 countries in total. I’ve been a reporter for more than 12 years, and worked a lot in radio, also as a broadcaster and as a producer, for the BBC World Service, CBC, Reuters, DW, France 24, RFI English, etc. But writing remains my favoured means of expression. I’ve been writing since 2003 on literature, arts, African-European relations, refugee rights, social change, music, art & politics. My first book, Massive Attack – Out of the Comfort Zone, was published in the UK in March 2019.
