(WDAM) - The Columbia Police Department is in the midst of a major shakeup after several officers, including Chief Michael Kelly, have submitted their resignations, or quit, according to the mayor. Columbia Mayor Justin McKenzie has confirmed that the chief and five other officers have either turned in their resignations or walked away from the police department over the past week. McKenzie says one of the officers has since asked to rescind her resignation.
