Concurrently, after ten years of distinguished service, Senior Editor John F. Murphy will also be stepping down. Both are effective December 31, 2023. The Chair of the Publications Committee has formed a search committee and begun the search for the next editor-in-chief.

Nance| aiche.org@ After almost seven years serving as the editor of AIChE’s Biotechnology and Translational Medicine (BioTM) journal, Samir Mitragotri has decided to step down and pass the reins to Elizabeth Nance, who will serve as the interim editor. Samir MitragotriMitragotri launched the journal with AIChE and helped to establish it as a go-to journal for publishing and learning about the latest in translational medicine research.
