Yale University announced on Thursday morning that it would require applicants to submit either their SAT or ACT scores, or their results from Advanced Placement or International Baccalaureate exams. Earlier this month, Dartmouth College said it was returning to a policy of requiring ACT or SAT scores. The Massachusetts Institute of Technology had done the same in 2022. Yale, Dartmouth, and MIT may turn out to be exceptions.
