Michelle Osterhoudt is a wife, mother, and 23 year educator and community leader. In her spare time, Michelle enjoys writing for her local paper as a freelance journalist. She writes her own monthly column titled, "Slightly Left of Center," where she covers such topics as education, politics, and anything else that sparks her muse. Michelle also enjoys blogging for her local chapter of the NAACP, of which she currently serves as chapter president. Having served as a council member for the city of Oneonta, Michelle's interests also involve volunteer community work. Her work, whether in the classroom, as an administrator, or in the community, has always been seen and led through a social justice lens, which remains her passion. For Michelle, her heart lies in making sure all have access to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness through voice and participation.
