Not about continuing to fail - we voted not to change. But attributing it all to the mayor perpetuates a Columbia myth that obscures the fix. Buffaloe is simply an opportunist and the consequence of an electorate that woefully lacks understanding of how its municipal government is designed to work.
By Mike Murphy| CoMo BUZ@ A Columbia pastor was caught stealing "Murph for Mayor" signs on Friday evening and booked into the Boone County jail. Andrew Lawrence Taylor Peck, 46, is an associate pastor at Broadway Christian Church. He was charged with misdemeanor stealing and released after posting a $500 bond. Boone County Sheriff Deputies made the arrest about 5:30 p.m. after Taylor Peck admitted taking three big "Murph for Mayor" signs and two smaller ones in an area along Scott Blvd. between W.
