  • Investigation proves once again value of local journalism

Your newspaper, the Lancaster Eagle-Gazette, led the way with bombshell coverage. Reporters Spencer Remoquillo and Trista Thurston, along with photographer Matthew Berry, embarked on an investigation of now former Lancaster Mayor Brian Kuhn’s gambling problem, shady business ethics and the good ole' boy network that put him into the highest office in the city. A dozen stories and a few editorials later, the mayor resigned.
