By Milo Strain| Arkansas Times Verified The Little Rock Board of Directors spent much of its Tuesday meeting trying to find a way to help the Metropolitan Housing Alliance avoid foreclosure on two apartment complexes that are home to dozens of people. The two complexes, called Madison Heights I and II, are located within the larger Madison Heights apartment complex off 12th Street and home to a number of residents now facing the possibility of being kicked out.
By Milo Strain| Arkansas Times Verified A Sunday evening shooting at a party at Conway’s Fifth Avenue Park left two people dead and nine injured. The Conway Police Department confirmed the injury and death counts, adding that all nine injured victims were transported to hospitals and are in stable condition. Police have not named any victims or suspects and have asked people to avoid Fifth Avenue Park as they investigate.
