By Molly Burgess Verified| gasworld magazine Verified Hidrogenii, a joint venture between US green hydrogen company Plug Power and chemical manufacturing firm Olin Corporation, has turned on a 15-tonnes-per-day hydrogen liquefaction plant in St Gabriel, Louisiana. Hidrogenii was established to build and operate the facility, which is now one of the largest electrolytic hydrogen liquefaction plants in North America. The plant will liquefy hydrogen produced by Olin, enabling trailer-based shipments to customers in the US.

With the deal Woodside will supply Uniper with one million tonnes a year from Louisiana LNG and the other one million tonnes from its wider portfolio. The deal marks a step towards Louisiana LNG reaching a final investment decision.
