By Monetta Young Verified| The AshTon Gazzete Verified ASHTON - The Ashton Village Board failed to pass the updated verbiage of the ordinance which regulates the burning of leaves, yard waste and the nuisance section of discarding leaves into the streets during the meeting on Monday night. The board approved posting the ordinance at the October meeting which prohibits burning of leaves in the village limits but apparently had second thoughts when it came down to the completion of the ordinance process.
