Mumtaz Bhat is a Kashmir-based journalist hailing from Rawoocha (Rafiabad) village in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir. He holds a B.A. (Hons) in Journalism and an M.A. in Mass Communication from HNB Garhwal Central University, Uttarakhand. Recognised by various NGOs and civil society groups for his impactful work as a young journalist, Mumtaz began his career with the 4tv satellite news channel.
