  • Large blaze breaks out in factory at Wicklow Port as plumes of black smoke fill the air

Fire crews from Wicklow town, Rathdrum and Arklow attended the scene, assisted by a tanker from Greystones. Hydraulic platforms had to be used in order to fight the fire from above.
