On Thursday, March 28, artist James Ingwersen announced to the public that he was donating his home, studio, gallery and surrounding property to the Peninsula School of Art, a move that gave him great satisfaction. Two days later, about a month shy of his 96th birthday, he died, content that the vision for his property he had pursued for most of his days since his wife, Phyllis, died in 2018, would come to fruition.
