Born November 2, 1917 in Washington County, Texas, Williams lived a full life. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Education at Xavier University in New Orleans, Louisiana, and he later went on to purse his Master’s Degree at the University of Michigan. Williams served in World War II and Korea.
