Nadeen Yanes joined the News 6 team in March 2016. The Central Florida girl grew up in Leesburg, Florida. She cheered for the Gators while at the University of Florida, and continues to love all things orange and blue! Go Gators! In fact, she started working at the college station at WUFT-TV, and WRUF (850am) while still in school. Nadeen then jumped head first into her broadcast career reporting on-air at the ABC affiliate WCJB-TV in Gainesville. She has been a TV junkie her whole life. It’s no wonder she grew up to be a journalist, and breaking news reporter.

'No way it's going to flood': Hudson homeowner questions Citizens Property Insurance flood requirements

FLOOD INSURANCE REQUIREMENT In 2023, Citizens Property Insurance began phasing in a requirement that policyholders get flood insurance coverage for their property, whether they live in a flood zone or not.
