Biography

My segue from law to journalism was not only the best decision I’ve ever made but a homecoming. After practising law for almost five years, I knew in my gut that continuing on that path was not the reason I was alive and that my purpose lay elsewhere. So I left the profession, travelled for a year and did intensive introspection. At age 30, I started working as an intern at BizNews.com. During the four years that followed, I gained practical experience and understanding of the entire editorial process including video production, copyediting, editorial design, and content distribution. My growing passion for content creation demanded the patience necessary to enhance my skillset to produce work with precision and purpose. I developed excellent proficiency in particular areas: video editing, creation and production, audio editing, research and contextual article writing, and interviewing. During my time at BizNews, my key achievements included increasing the subscriber base of BizNewsTV from 2,000 to almost 40,000 in my first year heading the TV department and conducting four of the five highest-earning interviews on BizNewsTV during the channel's lifetime, with two of my interviews reaching well over half a million views. I create, question, and fiercely pursue knowledge and aesthetic expression. Every article, video, and interview weaves my path as a storyteller and truth seeker. My work is often dismissed as it involves exploring unconventional wisdom obscured by mainstream narratives. Regardless, I stand by what I do and am driven by a purpose to preserve critical thinking and independent thought – values that have been decimated in the last few years.
