Biography

I am currently working on my Master's degree in journalism at Carleton University. I have written over 250 articles to date — covering crime and provincial politics, as well as difficult stories like student deaths and other emergencies. I previously spent several years working in Edmonton writing for various local news outlets. I worked as a curator on some of Taproot Edmonton's email roundups. I also worked as an Editorial Assistant with CBC Edmonton, where I had the opportunity to file stories for web, TV, and current affairs radio. During my undergraduate years, I worked at The Gateway, the student newspaper at the University of Alberta, as their Staff Reporter and later their News Editor.
