The junior was the champion in the high jump by clearing an even six feet. Galindo also leaped over 19 feet to finish third in the long jump, while the Keota boys’ distance medley relay finished third as well. The Eagles would take second place in the girls’ sprint medley. The Sigourney Savages also competed Thursday at the Rocket Relays in Eddyville.

Highland countered SK’s only goal of the match and then some, building a 4-1 lead by the time halftime came to win the second meeting between the two teams this season. Jared Diaz accounted for half of the Huskies’ goals with a hat trick and added two assists, while fellow senior Louis Horak also scored.
