Corrections reported the man to have allegedly escaped from a Darwin Correctional Facility on Willard Rd, Howard Springs about 10.20pm on Tuesday. He was a last sighted during a routine bed check about 7pm. His electronic monitoring device alerted corrections staff that it had been removed on Catalina Rd and Flockhart Dr in the Palmerston suburb of Marlows Lagoon.

Mr Kantilla was travelling with a group who were collecting wood for carving at a local art centre in Wurrumiyanga. However, he was reported missing when he did not return about 3pm. Police hold concerns due to his medical conditions.
