Whenever they struggled to remember people’s names or forgot why they walked into a room, they worried if they were developing it, too. While that fear is understandable, someone’s family history of Alzheimer’s does not paint a full picture of their own risk for developing the disease. Many people with a family history will never develop Alzheimer’s.
