Jamal Miller was charged with attempted murder, two counts of conspiracy, two counts of unlawful possession of a weapon, two counts of possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, 10 counts of aggravated assault, endangering the welfare of a child and possession of a large capacity magazine. He was sent to the Atlantic County jail.

Tahj’mere Chance must serve 8½ years before he is eligible for parole. Vineland police were dispatched to the 700 block of Wood Street for a report of a shooting Dec. 21, 2021. The victim, a juvenile, sustained life-threatening injuries. Surveillance captured from the area showed two males exit a vehicle and walk in the direction of the victim.
