Volunteers are busy preparing for Easter. "We prep salad, we prep fruit and try to make Selena's job a little easier if we can," volunteer Tom Williams said. "We're gonna have ham, mashed potatoes, a cornbread stuffing, green beans, cranberry sauce, rolls, a really nice spread that day," Head Chef Selena Gonzalez said.

Owner Dave Rupp says the smoked meat is popular, especially ahead of Easter. This is the shop’s busiest time of year. Rupp, his family, and friends start cooking for Easter more than a month in advance. Rupp says people travel from all over to buy his kielbasa. For many, it’s a tradition to have the meat on their Easter table. The closer to the holiday, the busier the shop gets.
