Anthony Titus Humphrey, 44, of Greenwood, was booked into the jail around 4:01 p.m. Tuesday on two preliminary charges. The two felony charges are criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon and resisting law enforcement, causing bodily injury. Humphrey was arrested in connection with a shooting that occurred at a home on the 200 block of Dietz Drive at 2:56 a.m. Monday.

Greenwood Police were called to a home in the 200 block of Dietz Drive at 2:56 a.m. Monday on a report of a person shot. This is in the Homecoming neighborhood, east of Interstate 65 and south of Main Street. Officers found one man who was shot and taken to a nearby hospital. That man is in surgery as of 9 a.m. Monday, said Matt Fillenwarth, assistant chief of police. Another man was taken into custody at the scene.
