I am an independent journalist based in Paris and New Delhi. I am also the founder and editor of the feminist platform Smashboard.org and a columnist for the Quint. I have written for leading publications such as Hindustan Times, the Guardian, Business Standard, the Caravan, Scroll.in, and Wire.in. During my long stint as Europe correspondent and Chief Editor, for New Delhi Television from 2004-2018, I travelled to more than fifty destinations in Europe for my reports.
