Chace Cook, 19, is charged with counts of first-degree murder and rape in the first-degree, stemming from the April 2023 death of 18-year-old Madeline Bills, who was a senior at Moore High School. The Cleveland County District Attorney’s Office stated in January that the office has also decided to seek the death penalty for Cook’s case.
