"This area had looked dramatically different when it had beach driving," said Tom Caffrey, owner of the World's Most Famous Brewery on the Main Street strip. Driving between Auditorium Shores and International Speedway Boulevard was banned back in 1996. At the time, officials said it would help spark redevelopment along Main Street.
