  • Police, fire sign new three-year deals

    By Pamela Lannom Verified| The Hinsdalean Verified Hinsdale police officers and firefighter/paramedics have new three-year contracts following trustees’ approval at the April 15 village board meeting. Both agreements raised the starting salary for new hires, which created a ripple effect for more experienced employees, Village President Tom Cauley said. “We want to make sure we get the best police candidates that we can get,” he said before the police contract was approved.
