Adil Alaoui has joined ADIB as a product manager where his remit will be to oversee the bank’s funds and products, sources said. He will be based in Abu Dhabi. Alaoui left Sarasin & Partners after six years with the UK-based asset manager, as Citywire Selector reported last June.

Basit Saiyed has taken the role this month, according to his latest Linkedin profile update. Prior to ADIB, Saiyed spent the bulk of his career at HSBC, working in various roles. Most recently, he was the head of investments and wealth solutions, Menat, for its global private banking and wealth unit for four years.
