Pitt County Clerk of Court Sara Beth Fulford Rhodes said that the county must convert to a different credit card provider just ahead of the switch to eCourts. Services will resume April 28.     By Pat Gruner Verified| Daily Reflector Verified Greenville police have cited more than 300 people in a year for driving with exhaust systems that make excessive or unusual noise or smoke, a violation the interim chief said is one of the most complained about in the city. From March 2024 to March 2025, the department issued 320 citations across the city for improper or modified mufflers, Richard Tyndall said in a memo distributed to members of the City Council.
